Boat Shipping Information

In Person Pick-Up 

In person boat collection is available at our Carson, WA warehouse.  In person collection is also available with our dealers around the country.   

Boat Shipping Expectations

If one of our warehouses is too far away to collect in person, we can ship to you! We work really hard to keep shipping costs low.  In order to do this, we ask that you meet the shipper in your general area (up to an hour away, but most often much closer).

We ask this because some of the shippers we use have abnormally large trucks which cannot go onto surface streets, residential areas or boathouses. It does not matter if you have purchased a boat from us before and it was delivered to your home, each transport trip is different and we ask you to please be flexible. If you are meeting a shipper, you must be able to car top a boat. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know immediately.

If meeting the shipper is not possible for you or you cannot arrange for someone to meet the shipment, we have other shipping options available. Other shipping options tend to be at full market price where the cost is at least double the amount and can take several months for delivery. 

 

 

Boat Insurance

We highly recommend insuring your new boat. Our business insurance covers your boat until you or a third-party shipper takes possession. After that, you are responsible for insurance.

Coverage Options:

  1. General Hull Insurance from Leonard Insurance Group (specialists in composite boat insurance).

  2. Trip Insurance through Leonard Insurance Group to cover transit.

  3. Add your boat to your Homeowner's or Renter's Insurance for coverage at your home. Call your provider to confirm transport coverage and policy details.

To purchase insurance from the recommended Leonard Insurance Group, email them the following details:

  • Mailing Address

  • Phone Number

  • Type of Boat and Size (e.g., Nelo 550 L Surfski WWR or NK Nitro 600 CX)

  • Boat Value

  • Boat ID Number

  • Type of insurance needed: Delivery Trip insurance (with trip start/end date) or general hull coverage (with start date).
