Overview

Nelo 61 Steady Hands. Fast Feet. One Seriously Capable Ski.

The Nelo 61 was built with a clear purpose: create a versatile, reliable, and efficient racing ski that doesn't ask you to choose between performance and control. Slightly shorter than other models in the range, the 61 is designed for paddlers who want a genuinely balanced package — stable enough to trust completely, fast enough to compete seriously, and responsive enough to make every wave count.

Fast, comfortable, and capable in all conditions — flat water or downwind, the 61 is ready for it.

Stability was the starting point. The 61's adjusted seating height, optimised bow angle, and shorter length work together to handle rougher conditions with composure, giving you a smoother, more predictable ride when fatigue is setting in and focus is harder to maintain. It's the kind of stability that doesn't slow you down — it frees you up.

Control is where the 61 really earns its stripes. The rudder system paired with an upgraded 3-point support footrest gives you a level of precision and feedback that makes the ski feel like a genuine extension of your body. Finding the right position on a wave, making quick adjustments mid-run, reacting instinctively to what the water is doing — the 61 handles all of it with a responsiveness that inspires confidence rather than demanding concentration.

Built with a lightweight yet rigid layup, the 61 is tough enough for serious, sustained paddling without carrying unnecessary weight. The result is a solid, connected feel through waves and chop — a ski you can lean on when conditions get demanding, and one that'll keep performing session after session, race after race.

And yes, it's fast. Stable and controlled doesn't mean slow — the 61's hull shape and lightweight construction deliver excellent glide and competitive speed across a wide range of conditions. It just happens to be fast in a way that feels effortless rather than precarious.
