Nordic Kayaks Flow The Most Stable ProLine Surfski (Yes, Really)
Meet the Flow — the chill, confident, and surprisingly capable new addition to the Nordic Kayaks ProLine family. Designed for paddlers who want a rock-solid, drama-free ride without settling for anything less than top-tier kit, the Flow is basically your best mate on the water: dependable, easygoing, and always up for an adventure.
You asked, we listened. Loads of paddlers have been eyeing up the beloved Club 540 and wishing it came in a ProLine flavour — so here it is, in all its glory. And here's the kicker: it weighs in at under 10 kg (22 lbs). Yes, a sub-10-kg entry-level ProLine surfski is very much a thing now.
Stretching to 5.40 m (17'9") in length and 55 cm (21.7") wide, the Flow strikes that sweet spot between stability you can trust and agility you'll actually enjoy. The battle-tested Club 540 hull delivers silky-smooth glide and keeps you in control when the water gets a little feisty — whether you're carving through chop or catching runs from small ripples to proper ocean swells. Beginners will love how forgiving it is; progressing paddlers will love how much it still lets them push their limits; and anyone who simply fancies a relaxed, confidence-boosting session on the water will feel right at home.
Inside the cockpit, things get even better. The Flow comes loaded with Nordic Kayaks' tried-and-trusted ergonomic setup: a supremely comfortable seat, a quick-adjustable footrest that actually adjusts quickly (revolutionary, we know), and full compatibility with the new add-on carbon hood deflector for those wetter days. There's also an integrated bottle holder (hydration sorted), sleek side carbon carry handles, and the latest deBrito/NK bailer keeping things shipshape. Planning a day trip? Opt for the carbon rear hatch for water-safe storage — because dry snacks are happy snacks. Bow and stern transport mounts round things off, making getting the Flow to and from the water far less of a workout than the paddle itself.
The Flow is suitable for paddlers between approximately 160 cm and 200 cm (5'3" to 6'7") in height — which, let's be honest, covers most of us.
